PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Opening the 2019-20 campaign on their home court, the Pace University women's basketball team earned a 78-56 win over Mercy College on Saturday.

Senior
Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, N.Y./Commack) served as the star for Pace, finishing the night with a career-best 31 points on 13-of-19 shooting. She also grabbed 11 rebounds to tally her eighth career double-double.

Junior
Lauren Schetter (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon High School) was the only other Setter to record double figures with 10 points. She also chipped in seven rebounds, four blocks and three steals.

Naya Rivera (Pomona, N.Y./North Rockland) and
Kayla Podlovits (Middle Village, N.Y./The Mary Louis Academy) each recorded nine points and five rebounds in the contest.

Pace's defense limited Mercy to 32.8-percent shooting from the field, while also tallying 10 steals and five blocks.
