PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The final weekend prior to Thanksgiving Break has all four of our winter squads hitting the road for away competition. Both basketball teams head to AIC on Saturday, while swimming and diving will be on Long Island at the USMMA Memorial Invitational.

Following a weekend off, the Setters are back in action at the annual USMMA Memorial Invitational on Saturday.
Both of Pace's squads are coming off defeats at Southern Connecticut State in their last time out on Nov. 8. Junior Filip Turecky (State College, Pa./State College Area) served as the Setters' top performer on the men's side. The Pennsylvania native was named the NE10's Swimmer of the Week after tallying three individual wins versus the Owls.
Turecky took home top marks in the 100-back (54.34), 50-free (54.82) and 200-back (2:02.29). He also joined Dessaniel Jaquez (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y./Dobbs Ferry), Brian Bates (Norwell, Mass./Norwell), and Samuel Gibson (Nassau, Bahamas/Saint Andrew's) for a victorious swim in the 200-free relay (1:30.50).
On the women's side, Amy Calandro (Eastchester, N.Y./Eastchester), Leigha Kosakowski (Selkirk, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) and Annabel Keppel-Palmer (Kent, England/Maidstone Grammar School) each won a pair of individual events. Calandro took home both diving events, notching respective scores of 187.80 (1-meter) and 184.50 (3-meter). Kosakowski clocked low times in the 100-breast (1:11.13) and 50-free (25.60) while Keppel-Palmer raced to triumphs in the 200-back (2:12.73) and 400-IM (4:47.08).

The Setters open NE10 play on a two-game winning streak after posting decisive triumphs over Concordia (89-53) and Felician (77-52) earlier this week. Pace is now 4-1 so far this season.
Three players are averaging double figures for the Blue and Gold. Senior Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, N.Y./Commack) is Pace's leading scorer this season, averaging 20.0 points per contest. She is also registering 6.8 rebounds per outing. Lauren Schetter (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon High School) is also grabbing 6.8 boards per game, while putting in 11.4 points.
Sophomore Brianna Wong (River Vale, N.J./Pascack Valley), who poured in a career-high 25 points on Tuesday night at Concordia, is averaging 11.0 points per game.

Pace begins its NE10 schedule with a record of 4-0, which is the program's best start since 1998. Most recently, the Setters cruised to a 99-64 victory over Mercy College on Wednesday night.
Senior Peyton Wejnert (Point Pleasant, N.J./Southern Regional) finished with a game-high 20 points versus the Mavericks, in addition to grabbing a team-best eight rebounds. He is now averaging 21.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this season.
Junior Brandon Jacobs (Cambria Heights, N.Y./Long Island Lutheran) also put forth a stellar effort versus Mercy, tallying a double-double of 15 points and 11 assists. He knocked in three more attempts from beyond the arc, and is now 11-of-19 from three-point land this season (.579).
