PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Season Finales and home basketball highlight the weekend of Nov. 15-16 for the Pace University Department of Athletics. The Setters' football and volleyball squads will each play their final contests of 2019 while men's and women's hoops will host a doubleheader on Saturday (Military Appreciation Day).

The Setters' final two matchups of the fall will come on the road this weekend, beginning on Friday night at Bentley.
Pace has been led this season by the duo of Sandra Yang (Bothell, Wash./Edmonds-Woodway) and Tatjana Calimpong-Burke (Waianae, Hawaii/Iolani). Yang enters the weekend as the Setters' leader in total kills, points and service aces. Calimpong-Burke ranks second on the team in kills, points and blocks this season.
Danielle Vaiano (Seaford, N.Y./St. Anthony's) and Samantha Nidini (Houston, Texas/Clearlake) will each wrap up their careers with top-five positions in the program's record book. Vaiano ranks fourth in career digs, while Nidini is slotted fourth in all-time assists.

The Setters are off to a 2-0 start to 2019 thanks to victories over Mercy and New York Tech last weekend.
Senior Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, N.Y./Commack) was the star for Pace to open the year, averaging 23.5 points and 9.0 rebounds across two wins. She was especially impressive versus Mercy, posting a double-double with a career-high 31 points.
Junior Lauren Schetter (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon High School) also performed well for the Blue and Gold last week. The Beacon, N.Y. native put together averages of 13.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 2.0 steals.

Pace opened the new campaign with a pair of wins last week in the annual Conference Challenge hosted by Adelphi. The Setters picked up double-digit victories over Georgian Court (79-69) and Queens (62-50).
Peyton Wejnert (Point Pleasant, N.J./Southern Regional) was named the NE10's Player of the Week on Monday after a dominant opening stretch. The senior averaged a double-double of 24.5 points and 10.5 rebounds over two games, while registering a career-high 29 points against the Lions.
Junior point guard Brandon Jacobs (Cambria Heights, N.Y./Long Island Lutheran) joined in with a strong start of his own. Jacobs registered averages of 14.5 points, 6.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds.

The Setters will look to end the year on a high note with a final trip to SCSU. Pace is currently slotted second in the NE10 standings with a mark of 4-3 (5-4 overall).
A pair of seniors are each on the verge of further etching their names into the Pace Football record books. The Setters' all-time leading rusher, Jhalen Bien-Aime (Dorchester, Mass./Bridgton Academy), enters Saturday 28 yards shy of 3,000 for his career, while Darius Jones (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) needs just one receiving touchdown to tie the program's single-season record (12).
Quarterback Carlton Aiken (Gibbstown, N.J./Paulsboro) leads the NE10 in passing touchdowns (17) this season while ranking fourth in the league in yards per game (175.8).
