PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University volleyball team dropped their second straight five-setter on Saturday, falling to Franklin Pierce by a final score of 29-31, 25-21, 25-21, 20-25, 10-15.

Senior
Tatjana Calimpong-Burke (Waianae, Hawaii/Iolani) put together one of the best matches of her career, finishing the afternoon with 18 kills, 11 digs, six blocks and a pair of service aces. She also led the Setters with a .341 hitting percentage.

Classmate
Samantha Nidini (Houston, Texas/Clearlake) joined Calimpong-Burke with a double-double of her own with 35 assists and 12 digs.
Senior
Jamie Soldinger (Bay Shore, NY/Bay Shore) and
Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens) supplemented the Pace attack, posting 13 and 12 kills respectively. Jones also tallied 10 digs, finishing as one of six Setters with double-figure digs.

The Blue and Gold totaled 21 blocks (season-high) and 102 digs across the five sets.Â
