PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Beginning their final weekend of the season, the Pace University field hockey team fell to Limestone College on Friday afternoon by a final score of 3-2.

Junior
Mia Lennon (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Lakeland) struck first for the Blue and Gold, giving the Setters a 1-0 lead in the 8th minute. Classmate
Kim Schiera (Carmel, N.Y./Mahopac) picked up the assist on the play after feeding Lennon off a penalty corner.

Limestone answered in the 21
st minute, knotting the game up at one goal apiece.

In the second half,
Cienna Bosher (Blackwood, N.J./Highland) gave the lead back to the Setters, registering her second goal of 2019 while Lennon tallied her fourth assist.

Limestone followed with two unanswered goals with Kate Remley's game-winner coming in the 54
th minute off a penalty stroke.

The Setters earned four penalty corners in the final 15 seconds of regulation, but were unable to find the equalizer. Pace put together a 13-5 edge over the Saints in corner opportunities.

Sophomore goalkeeper
Grace Henderson (Kingswood, South Australia/Unley) tallied 12 saves in the contest, marking the seventh game in which she recorded 10 or more stops this season.
