EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Facing an 18-4 East Stroudsburg team on the road, the Pace University volleyball squad was defeated in three sets (25-11, 25-16, 25-21) on Wednesday night. 

Senior Samantha Nidini (Houston, Texas/Clearlake) and freshman Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens) served as Pace's top performers against the Warriors. Nidini finished the night with nine assists and eight digs, while Jones tallied a team-high six kills. 

Defensively, senior Danielle Vaiano (Seaford, N.Y./St. Anthony's) registered a squad-best 11 digs while junior Mackenzie Byrne (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) recorded a pair of blocks.

Nicole Pivetti (Modena, Italy/Liceo Wiligelmo) helped out with the passing duties, dishing out seven assists across the three sets.
