SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Pace University volleyball team dropped a three-set decision (25-21, 25-20, 25-11) at American International College on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman
Brielle Jones (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Palm Beach Gardens) led the Pace offense in kills, totaling seven for the contest. She also chipped in three digs and a block.
Sophomore
Christal Wong (Elk Grove, Calif./Cosumnes Oaks) and senior
Tatjana Calimpong-Burke (Waianae, Hawaii/Iolani) put together a combined effort of six kills and 8.5 points as the other offensive leaders. Calimpong-Burke also earned placement on the Setter leaderboard for a service ace and a solo block.
Sophomore
Nicole Pivetti (Modena, Italy/Liceo Wiligelmo) piloted the Setters' passing with nine assists, while
Danielle Vaiano (Seaford, N.Y./St. Anthony's) contributed a team-high of 11 digs.
Up Next
The Setters will return to action on the road on Tuesday (Oct. 15) with a 7 p.m. matchup at New Haven.
