Looking to get back in to the win column on their current eight-game road trip, the Setters will play a three-game series at AIC beginning on Friday afternoon. Pace enters play with a 12-10-1 record, sitting at 6-6 in conference play.

The Blue and Gold dropped an 8-4 decision to Adelphi on Wednesday, moving to 1-1 against the Panthers in the season series. Pace claimed an early 3-0 lead courtesy of an RBI single from Greg Tsouprakos (West Islip, NY/West Islip) and a double off the bat of Matthew Kurdewan (Neptune, NJ/Red Bank Catholic) to drive in another pair, but the Adelphi bats bounced back to take the game. Michael Barbato (Sparkill, NY/Tappan Zee) hit his first home run of the season in the loss.

The Yellow Jackets enter the weekend at 13-17, sporting a 4-9 conference mark. AIC has dropped their last two games, and is 1-7 in their last eight. The Setters swept last season's three-game series, and have won the last four meetings overall with AIC.

Right off the heels of an offensive explosion the led to head coach Claudia Stabile's 700th career win, the Setters look to keep the bats hot in a weekend series against AIC. Pace stands at 11-16 overall, and 8-7 against the Northeast-10 Conference.

The Blue and Gold scored a season-high 12 runs in the closer of Thursday's doubleheader against Caldwell University. Niyah Brown (Chino, CA/Chino Hills) went 4-for-7 across the two contests, scoring three runs while driving in four. Larissa Labs (Carlsbad, CA/San Marcos High School) ended the day 4-for-6, while Lindsey Ah Soon (Ewa Beach, HI/Kamehameha Kapalama) added a three-hit day with four RBIs. Six different Setters recorded an extra base hit in Game Two.

The Yellow Jackets' softball squad is 4-22 on the year, sitting at 1-6 against the NE10. AIC enters the weekend on a two-game winning streak after sweeping a doubleheader against Post on Thursday. AIC took two of three from the Setters in last season's meetings.

*Saturday's contests also mark the softball squad's "Pace Goes Pink" day at Pace Softball Field. Members of Pace's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be on hand to sell t-shirts, promote awareness and collect additional donations for the Breast Institute at Northern Westchester Hospital.
