WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The Pace University women's basketball team was defeated at the University of New Haven on Tuesday night, 65-55.
With New Haven leading by five after three quarters, a three-pointer from the Chargers' Camryn Debose to start the fourth quarter set the tone for the final frame. The home team would go on to rattle off a 17-6 run to begin the final 10 minutes, which provided a 16-point lead with less than two minutes remaining in the contest.
The Setters' offense was led by a combined 37 points from the duo of
Alexandra Monteleone (Cold Spring, NY/Haldane) and
Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, NY/Commack). They also each grabbed a team-best five rebounds while totaling six of Pace's eight steals.
Sophomore
Lauren Schetter (Beacon, NY/Beacon High School) helped the Blue and Gold attack with nine points and a team-high four assists.
The Setters were unable to find the bottom of the net from long range, finishing the night 0-of-18 from three-point range.

The Setters will return home on Saturday afternoon when they host Southern Connecticut State at 1:30 p.m.
