After improving to 2-1 in conference play on Wednesday, the Setters look for a third straight win against the NE10 Saturday against Le Moyne. The Setters' mid-week victory over AIC moved the Blue and Gold to 3-4 on the season.
Pace defeated the Yellow Jackets, 76-70, to get Wednesday's Pride Night off to a strong start. Seeing her first extensive action of the season,
Alexandra Monteleone (Cold Spring, NY/Haldane) was an offensive catalyst versus AIC. The senior's 26 points were one shy of her career high.
Lauren Schetter (Beacon, NY/Beacon High School) and
Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, NY/Commack) also reached double figures, scoring 17 and 15, respectively.
The Setters shot a season-best 50-percent from beyond the arc, led by four threes from Monteleone.
Stefanie Svoboda (Ossining, NY/Ossining) added a pair of deep balls of her own to go along with a two-steal, five-rebound performance.
Le Moyne stands at 4-2 on the year and 2-2 against the NE10 following a 53-52 loss to Saint Rose on Wednesday. The Dolphins are led offensively by McKayla Roberts, whose 18.7 points per game ranks fifth in the NE10. Le Moyne features one of the most accurate shooting offenses in the early going, sporting a 45.6 field-goal percentage that is the second highest in the conference.

Seeking a fifth straight win, the Setters will play the backend of Saturday's action. Pace heads into the weekend with a record of 5-2, sitting at 2-1 in NE10 play.
The Blue and Gold defeated AIC, 66-59, on Wednesday night. Pace's balanced attack once again featured four players in double figures.
Austin Gilbertson (Etters, PA/Trinity) led the offense with a season-high 17 points, including four second half three-pointers that helped secure the win.
Brandon Jacobs (Cambria Heights, NY/Long Island Lutheran),
Greg Poleon (Brooklyn, NY/Abraham Lincoln / Coffeyville CC), and
Peyton Wejnert (Point Pleasant, NJ/Southern Regional) joined Gilbertson with double-digit offensive nights.
Pace's defense continued to excel, as AIC became the third team this season to be limited to less than 60 points by the Setters. Pace is allowing just 65.9 points per game, the second-lowest total in the NE10.
The Dolphins are 5-2 (3-1 NE10) after Wednesday's 77-60 victory over Saint Rose. Kobi Nwandu averages 19.3 points per game through seven contests, while Tom Brown's 9.4 rebounds per game ranks second in the conference. Despite having one of the best rebounders in the NE10, the Dolphins are only averaging 32.1 rebounds per game, the second fewest in the conference.
