WORCESTER, Mass. – The Pace University volleyball team extended its winning streak to three straight on Wednesday night courtesy of a 3-0 victory (25-23, 25-21, 25-23) at Assumption College. The Setters' seventh sweep of 2018 sends their record to 14-3 overall, including 3-1 inside the NE10.
Junior
Samantha Nidini (Houston, TX/Clearlake) led the way for the Blue and Gold, finishing the night just three kills shy of a triple-double. The Texas native racked up seven kills, 18 assists and 12 digs across just three sets.
Sandra Yang (Bothell, WA/Edmonds-Woodway) and
Tatjana Calimpong-Burke (Waianae, HI/Iolani) led Pace with eight kills apiece, with Yang recording a team-best .292 hitting percentage. Senior
Claudia Fontanet (Bayamon, Puerto Rico/Academia Maria Reina) also had a strong night offensively, tallying seven putaways.

Danielle Vaiano (Seaford, NY/St. Anthony's) led the Setters with 24 digs—her highest total in a three-set match this season. Vaiano now ranks fifth in the NE10 in digs per set at 4.25. As a team, the Blue and Gold finished with 82 digs in the contest. Fontanet (10) and
