PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Another busy Saturday awaits Pace University's winter athletic squads, as all four teams will be in action over the weekend. Kicking off Saturday's Gold Out doubleheader, the Setters will tip-off against NE10 Conference foe Bentley University. Pace enters the contest at 6-15 with a 2-11 record in the conference.

The Blue and Gold were defeated on the road against Stonehill on Tuesday night, 67-52. Greg Poleon (Brooklyn, NY/Abraham Lincoln / Coffeyville CC) and Peyton Wejnert (Point Pleasant, NJ/Southern Regional) led the Pace offense with a combined 24 points. Poleon scored 14 to bring his streak of games in double figures to seven in a row, and was also Pace's leading rebounder with seven boards. Wejnert added 10 points to bring his streak of double-digit offensive outings to six. Wejnert leads the Setters, averaging 13.5 points per contest this season.

Bentley is 10-8 on the year and holds a 7-6 record against the NE10. The Falcons have been playing .500 ball since Dec. 29, alternating wins and losses in their past eight games, most recently falling to Southern Connecticut State last Saturday. The Bentley offense, ranking third in the conference with 81.3 points per game, is led by Ryan Richmond, the NE10's second-leading scorer (22.7 PPG).

*Saturday's men's basketball contest is also Coaches vs. Cancer's Suits and Sneakers Day, as well as Men's Basketball Alumni Day at the Goldstein Fitness Center. Coaches for both teams will be wearing suits and sneakers to raise awareness and help save lives from cancer by raising funds and encouraging people to educate themselves about cancer prevention, screening, and early detection. The team will also be honoring program alumni in attendance at halftime.

The Blue and Gold were edged by Stonehill on Tuesday, 62-55. Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, NY/Commack) led the offense with 15 points, including Pace's first eight of the contest.
