KANEOHE, Hawai'I – The Pace University women's soccer team wrapped up its season-opening trip to the Aloha State with a 2-0 defeat to the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
Although unable to find the back of the net, the Setters had their chances. Pace registered five shots on goal and five corner kicks. Senior goalkeeper
Hayley Pascoal (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Township) put together a clean sheet in the first half, making three saves.
Following more than 56 minutes of scoreless action, the Vulcans knocked in goals at 56:08 and 86:06 of the second half. Goalkeeper Jenna Hufford posted the shutout, turning away four shot attempts.
