PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – With a new fall season just days away, the Pace University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that 79 student-athletes earned D2 Athletic Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Awards for the 2016-17 school year.

The Blue and Gold had student-athletes from all 14 of its teams earn recognition, including a department-best 11 represented from the women's soccer team.

All in all, a total of 10,644 student-athletes from 183 institutions earned 2016-17 Academic Achievement Awards. The Northeast-10 Conference ranked second amongst all conferences with 941 student-athletes on the list.

To qualify for the D2 ADA academic awards, a student-athlete must have had a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year.

Pace University is an NCAA Division II member of the Northeast-10 Conference that sponsors 14 intercollegiate sports.
