SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Freshman
Emma Schafer (Mission Viejo, CA/El Toro) hit a pinch-hit two-run homer in the top of the seventh, kicking off a five-run rally in the final frame to lift the Pace University softball team to a 5-1 victory over Le Moyne College in Saturday's Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division matchup, securing a three-game sweep for the Setters.

- Shortstop Lauren Zazzaro doubled with two away in the second.
- Designated player Rachelle Walters then hit an RBI single to center, scoring Zazzaro to give the Dolphins a 1-0 lead.

Larissa Labs (Carlsbad, CA/San Marcos High School) led off the seventh with a single to second to get the rally started.
- With one away, Schafer came up to pinch hit, and came through with a two-run homer over the right-field fence to put the Setters ahead, 2-1.

Jillian Gartner (Encinitas, CA/San Dieguito Academy) came up to pinch hit next, and stroked a double down the left-field line to start the rally up again.

Stephanie Wang (Arcadia, CA/Arcadia) then singled to shortstop, and junior shortstop
Ashley Lew (New City, NY/Clarkstown High School North) followed with a single back to the pitcher to load the bases.
- Senior designated player
Samantha Lima (Brawley, CA/Saddleback College) capitalized with a bases-clearing double to center, putting the Setters on top, 5-1.

- Senior pitcher
Kaitlynn Nelson (Ojai, CA/Nordhoff) tossed a complete game, giving up just one run on four hits with four strikeouts for her sixth win of the year.

- Schafer took advantage of her only chance at the plate, hitting a two-run homer to give Pace the lead in the seventh.
- Lima hit 1-for-4 with a three-RBI double.
