ALBANY, N.Y. – Despite outshooting the College of Saint Rose—which included a flurry of chances in the final moments of regulation—the Pace University women's soccer team dropped a tight 2-1 contest in Albany, N.Y. on Wednesday evening. The loss moves the Setters to 7-5-1 in the Northeast-10 Conference this season, while Saint Rose shifts to 10-3.
In a battle of the two of the top teams in the NE10 standings, the game fittingly went down to the wire. After senior
Drew Ribadeneyra (Maybrook, NY/Valley Central) brought the Setters within one-goal in the 75
th minute, the visitors had a corner kick, a shot saved, a shot blocked, and a shot go wide left—all in the final two minutes of regulation.
Sophomore
Shannon Glenn (New Hampton, NY/Goshen) and junior
Victoria Kealy (Nutley, NJ/Nutley) were each involved the final dramatic moments, as Glenn had a shot saved while Kealy's final two chances were unable to make it on net.
Ribadeneyra's second goal of the season came courtesy of a penalty kick. Ribadeneyra ups her career points total to 36 off 16 assists and now 10 tallies.
The Golden Knights' goals came in the early stages of each half. Victoria Barris put in the opener in the 19
th minute while Caitlyn Dabagian, who assisted the first tally, scored at 49:00.

The Setters will return home to take on Le Moyne College in their regular-season finale on Saturday evening. Pace will celebrate Senior Day prior to a 5 p.m. start against the Dolphins.
