Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Pace Soccer Ties Bentley for Second Straight Draw

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Sophomore Victoria Kealy (Nutley, NJ/Nutley)'s early goal gave the Pace University women's soccer team the lead for over 60 minutes on Saturday, but a late equalizer by Bentley University forced overtime and eventually led to the Setters' second-straight draw at Pace Stadium, this time by a score of 1-1 in Northeast-10 Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kealy fired off a beautiful shot from the top-right edge of the box, sending the ball into the top-right corner of the net to give Pace the lead in the 28th minute.
- With just 1:42 left in regulation, Bentley's Brandi McDonald tried one from nearly the same spot as Kealy's score, but sent it to the far-left end of the net and in to eventually force overtime.
- The Setters managed four shots in the first extra period, but were unable to get it past the keeper.
- The Falcons spun it around to outshoot the Setters, 3-1, in the second overtime, but neither team was able to get one into the back of the net and win the game.

PACE LEADERS
- Kealy netted her second goal of the year in the first half.
- Junior goalkeeper Aisha Chauhan (Carteret, NJ/Carteret) came just shy of her third shutout, but made four stops in the draw to go to 3-1-2 on the season.
- Senior Alyssa Zeoli (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay East Fishkill) and junior Emma Sinanan (Toms River, NJ/Toms River East) matched with a team-high five shots in the game.
