RINDGE, N.H. – Senior
Alyssa Zeoli (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay East Fishkill) netted a goal at the 89th minute, but it was not enough as the Pace University women's soccer team fell to Franklin Pierce University on Saturday in a road Northeast-10 Conference matchup.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Franklin Pierce scored two goals in the first half, one at the 32nd minute and the second coming in at the 39th minute, giving the Ravens a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
- Setters buckled down and left the Ravens scoreless in the second half.
- Zeoli kicked in a goal for the Setters at the 89th minute of gameplay assisted by Sophomore
Sophia DeLeon (Whitestone, NY/Saint Francis Prep).
- After a defensive breakdown, Zeoli blasted in the goal from the top of the left side of the net for the score.
PACE LEADERS
- Zeoli netted a goal in for the Setters.
- DeLeon registered her first assist of the season.
