LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The Pace University men's lacrosse team rolled to an 18-7 victory over Georgian Court University Saturday afternoon at the GCU Track & Field Complex. Pace improves to 3-1 on the year with the win, while the Lions drop to 0-4.
Sophomore
Anthony Gadaleta (Kings Park, NY/Kings Park) led the way on Saturday with five points, scoring four times and handing out one assist. He scored the first three goals of the game to give Pace an early advantage. Sophomore
Liam Brennan (Huntington Station, NY/Walt Whitman), sophomore
Joshua Kreitler (Shelton, CT/Shelton) and junior
Robert Maddia (East Northport, NY/John H. Glenn) each scored twice and assisted one goal apiece for a trio of three-point efforts. Joining them is freshman
Bradley Paterson (Caldwell, NJ/Depaul Catholic), who dished out two helpers and scored a goal of his own.
Junior
Peter Sharp (Airmont, NY/Suffern) and freshman
Kevin Vogelsberg (Wantagh, NY/Holy Trinity Diocesan) each scored one goal and assisted another for a pair of two-point games. Sophomore
Trevor Chernoff (Coquitlam, BC/Gleneagle Secondary) added two assists. Senior

Kevin Cox (Brightwater, NY/Bay Shore / Manhattan College) and junior
James Vitale (Port Jefferson Station, NY/St. John the Baptist) each scored a goal in the game. Freshman
Vincent Vasheo (Wantagh, NY/Wantagh) and sophomore
Michael Pappalardo (Ossining, NY/Ossining) both provided an assist.
Junior
Ryan Calmon (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) led the Setters with four ground balls in the game. He was also one of five Setters to caused two turnovers in the win. Senior
Matt Ruquet (Rocky Point, NY/Rocky Point / Manhattan College) went 11-of-13 on face-offs.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Robert Beshlian (Wantagh, NY/Wantagh) picked up the win with a scoreless first half to improve to 3-1 on the year. He made two saves to keep the Lions off the board.
The Setters return to action next Saturday, March 12, when they host Merrimack College in their Northeast-10 Conference opener at Pace Stadium. The opening face-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
