Karrin Moore reached the 100-win milestone as the Setters defeated Bloomfield College in four sets Friday evening in non-conference action at the Goldstein Fitness Center.

100 FOR MOORE
- Coach Moore reaches her 100th victory in her seventh season at the helm of the Pace women's volleyball team.
- Her 100 victories rank her fourth all-time among Pace volleyball coaches, and leaves her just one win from third place on the all-time list, and five wins from second. Dinu Dan holds the record with 148 wins from 1997-2001.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neither team hit well in the first set, with both recording hitting percentages under .100, but the Bears managed to pick up a 25-22 win to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Setters turned things around in the second set to knot the match up after claiming a 25-20 win.
- Pace took complete control in the third set after hitting .333 and holding the Bears to a -.026 clip for a 25-13 win.
- The Bears hit .000 in the final frame, helping Pace pick up a 25-16 victory and a 3-1 win on the night.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Sophomore
Claudia Fontanet (Bayamon, Puerto Rico/Academia Maria Reina) threw down a match-best 16 kills, also picking up 24 digs for another double-double.
- Freshman
Tatjana Calimpong-Burke (Waianae, HI/Iolani) also had a double-double with 10 kills and 21 digs.
- Freshman
Samantha Nidini (Houston, TX/Clearlake) dished out 42 assists and registered 17 digs for a double-double of her own.
- Freshman
Danielle Vaiano (Seaford, NY/St. Anthony's) led all players with 30 digs and also added eight assists.
- Sophomore
Kathleen Benson (Kings Park, NY/Kings Park) slammed 13 kills and totaled a match-high four blocks.

UP NEXT
- Pace hosts Senior Day on Saturday, Nov. 5, when they take on Saint Michael's College in NE-10 action. The match is set to begin at 3 p.m., with the Senior Day ceremony taking place shortly before the match begins.
