Victoria Kealy (Nutley, NJ/Nutley) scored the game-winning goal with 22 seconds left in the second half, and junior goalkeeper
Hayley Pascoal (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Township) recorded her second straight shutout, both leading the Pace University women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over American International College at Pace Stadium in Northeast-10 Conference play Wednesday evening. The Setters stay undefeated at home this season (5-0-2) with the win over the Yellow Jackets.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kealy fired off a shot from the top of the box, beating the keeper high for the score in the 90th minute of the game.
- Pascoal secured the Setters' defense, recording seven saves in the game. This was Pascoal's second career start in goal, and she improves to 2-0, both wins being shutouts.
PACE LEADERS
- Kealy only tried one shot, but it was the one that mattered most, blasting in the late second-half game-winning goal.

Ashley Kenny (Chester, NY/Washingtonville) took two shots, one going on goal.
AIC
- Stephanie Tweer took three shots with one going on goal.
- Goalkeeper Madison Brown saved two shots, but she falls to 7-5 on the year with the loss.

PACE GOES PINK
Sunday afternoon's Pace Goes Pink event was unfortunately postponed and rescheduled to Wednesday evening's game, but that did not deter those supporting the battle against breast cancer, as donations raised over $800 for the Breast Institute at Northern Westchester Hospital.
WHAT'S NEXT?
- The Setters will travel to Stonehill College on Saturday, Oct. 15, for an NE-10 matchup in Easton, Mass. The game is set to kick off at 2 p.m.
- Pace then takes a short trip to Garden City, N.Y. to face-off against No. 12 Adelphi University on Tuesday, Oct. 18 for another conference game at 7 p.m..
