BRIARCLIFF, NY- The Setters fell to Caldwell 10-2 in a non-conference game. Game 2 of the scheduled doubleheader was cancelled due to rain.

The Setters got on the board in the second inning as
Natalie Gellos led off with a single and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt and stole third.
Ashley Lew was hit by a pitch and the Setters got their first run on a delayed double steal.

Caldwell scored in the last four innings as they tied it up in the third and had a five run outburst in the fourth. Pace was limited to one hit in the game as they fell short.

Kaitlynn Nelson struck out one in 3 1/3 innings of work, allowing five runs (four earned) on two hits to fall to 2-2 on the season.
Jaclyn Flores came on in relief for the final 1 2/3 innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits.

The Setters are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, March 26 as they host the Queens College Knights in a non-conference doubleheader at 3 pm.
