CLERMONT, FL- The Setters put on an offensive display as they remained unbeaten in 2015 with a pair of 12-0 wins over Bridgeport and Saint Michael's. Pace rapped out 24 hits on the day with 10 extra base hits as they improve their record to 4-0 on the season.
In the opener, the Setters took control of the game early with a 10-run first inning.
Shelby Yung was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning, moved to second on a wild pitch, while
Jeane Drury singled and advanced to second on the throw.
Natalie Gellos belted a three-run homerun to put Pace on the board 3-0.
Pace wasn't finished in the inning as they loaded the bases with one out.
Haley Hernandez had an RBI single, while Yung drew a walk to force in a run.
Larissa Labs also drove in a run with a single, while Drury came through with another key hit in the inning with a three-run double to put the Setters ahead 10-0.
The Setters added single runs in the second and fourth innings as Hernandez again delivered with an RBI single. In the fourth,
Nikole Larm singled in the Setters' final run of the opener.
Jaclyn Flores got the start on the mound, going two scoreless innings, allowing three hits and struck out one.
Samantha Keating came on in relief, earning her first collegiate victory with three scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out one.
In the second game, the Setters got on the board again in the opening inning as Drury ripped a run scoring double, while Gellos singled in Drury for a 2-0 lead. The Setters loaded the bases in the second and Labs has the key hit with a three-run triple to extend the Pace leas to 5-0. Pace added three more in the game as Gellos walked and
Surina Sandhu two-run double.

The Setters added to their lead in the third and fourth innings as they plated four additional runs. Yung had an RBI single in the third, while Drury drove in a pair with a double. Pace added a run in the fourth as they scored on a wild pitch.
On the mound for the Setters,
Caitlin McCann spun a two-hit shutout with five strikeouts for her first win of the season.
The Setters continue their Florida road trip as they take on Wayne State University at 1 pm and Dominican College at 3 pm.
