Christina Rubin connected from downtown to spark five straight Setter points. With the score knotted at 17 apiece, freshman
Gabriella Rubin added a pair of baskets to push Pace up four points with eight minutes to play. New Haven led by nine points late, but a pair of shots from behind the arc by C. Rubin in the final 1:01 of play saw Pace enter the locker room trailing 38-32.
The Setters came hot out of the gate as senior
Jaclyn Oskam splashed a three on the opening Pace possession to pull to within three points. Minutes later, Hackett again drilled a shot from distance to spark a 9-2 rally that was capped off by a G. Rubin three-pointer. Now knotted at 46-all, Hackett again found the range again and connected from downtown to pull Pace up by three. Midway through the half, junior
