Kyle Pearson led the Setters with 18 points but the Pace men's basketball team fell to the Bentley Falcons 75-53 in Northeast-10 Conference action.

The Setters fall to 5-17 overall and 1-13 in the NE-10, while the Falcons improve to 13-7 and 8-6 in conference play.

Bentley netted the first 10 points of the game to start the contest. The Setters answered back as
Shelton Mickell netted four points, while Pearson connected on a long ball to pull Pace back to within four points at 13-9 near the midway point of the first half.

The Falcons added to their lead, pushing into double digits but another Pearson trifecta cut the score down to eight points at 18-10 with 8:51 left in the half. Bentley extended their lead back into double figures and maintained their advantage into the second half.

For Pace, Pearson led the way with 18 points along with eight boards. Mickell chipped in 12 points and four assists, while
Bryan Rivers tallied nine points, four assists and two steals. Â

The Setters hit the road next weekend as they travel to Springfield, MA for an NE-10 clash against the American International Yellow Jackets on Saturday, February 7 at 3:30 pm.
