Shelton Mickell recorded his first double-double of the season but the Pace men's basketball team fell to the Franklin Pierce Ravens 78-65 in Northeast-10 Conference action.

The Setters fall to 5-14 overall and 1-10 in the NE-10, while the Ravens improve to 11-6 and 6-4 in conference play.

The Setters led by two points in the first three minutes behind four points by Mickell. The Ravens rallied to take a double digit lead mid through the opening half.

Pace shaved the score down to nine points following back-to-back bucker by
Jared Pearson and Mickell. Franklin Pierce pushed their lead back into double figures and held the lead into the second half.

For Pace, Mickell finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.
Kyle Pearson totaled 13 points and seven boards, while J. Pearson posted 10 points.
Jaylen Mann chipped in 10 points and four boards.

The Setters are back home on Saturday, January 24 as they host the Saint Michael's Purple Knights in an NE-10 clash 3:30 pm at the Goldstein Fitness Center. Â Â Â
