CARY, NC– The Setters split a pair of games at the USA Baseball National Training Complex as they defeated Caldwell 3-1 but fell to Felician 13-2. Pace moves their record to 3-4 overall on the season.

In the second game of the day against Felician, the Golden Falcons took a 4-0 lead with runs in each of the first three innings. The Setters got on the board in their half of the third as Chris Gili (Manorville, NY/Eastport-South Manor) (Manorville, NY/Eastport-South Manor) doubled with two outs. Gili came around to score on James Pjura (Shelton, CT/Shelton) (Shelton, CT/Shelton) single.
Felician added three runs in the fifth but Pace got back a run on their half of the inning. Michael Viegas (Staten Island, NY/Monsignor Farrell) (Staten Island, NY/Monsignor Farrell) walked and John Kukura (New City, NY/Clarkstown South) (New City, NY/Clarkstown South) singled. Gill reached base on a bunt single to load up the bases. Ian Wukitsch (Morristown, NJ/Morristown) (Morristown, NJ/Morristown) drove in the second Pace run of the game on a fielder's choice.
Jonathan Silva (Staten Island, NY/Tottenville) got the start in the second game, tossing 3 1/4 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits, while striking out one to fall to 0-2 on the season.
The Setters continue their play at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, NC on Sunday, March 16 as they will take on Molloy at 6 pm.
