Kyle Pearson turned in a double-double effort but the Pace men's basketball team fell to the Le Moyne Dolphins 68-51 in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

The Setters fall to 2-7 overall and 0-5 in the NE-10, while the Dolphins improve to 8-1 and 4-0 in conference play.

The Dolphins netted the first nine points of the contest but the Setters answered with the ensuing eight points.
Khalil Brown got Pace on the board for their first points of the game, while Pearson drained a pair at the line.
Victor Jusino netted four points in the run, including a put back at the 12:42 mark to slice the score to one point at 9-8.

Le Moyne pushed it back to four points but the Setters pulled even twice over the following four minutes of play. Pearson's lay-up at the 11:01 mark knotted the score at 12 apiece, while
Bryan Rivers bucket at the 8:11 mark again evened the score at 14-14. The Dolphins stretched their lead to double digits in the final minutes of the half as they led 34-24 at the break.

The Setters trimmed the score to start the second half as
Mike Demello connected from downtown, while Rivers converted a steal into a fast-break lay-up to close the gap to 36-29 with 15:09 left in the game. The Dolphins scored 12 unanswered points to extend into double digits and led the rest of the way.

For the Setters, Pearson tallied 15 points and 11 rebounds, while
Shelton Mickell finished with 13 points and five assists. Rivers totaled seven points, four caroms and five assists. Jusino grabbed seven boards to go along with four points.
The Setters travel to Queens College on Tuesday, December 9 for a non-conference tilt against the Knights at 7 pm. Â Â Â
