The Lions rallied to pull even at 16 at the midway point of the half but the Setters answered with a 9-2 run. Bryan Rivers led the way with four of the nine points, while Jaylen Mann capped it with a tip-in to give the Setters a 25-18 lead with 3:55 left on the clock. Georgian Court rallied late but the Setters held a 27-24 lead at the break.

The Setters added to their lead to start the second half as a Mickell lay-up and a trifecta by Mike Demello stretched the Pace lead to eight points at 32-24 early in the second half.
