PLEASANTVILLE, NY- Freshman
Sydney Lecker tallied a season-high 14 kills along with 14 digs but the Pace University Volleyball team fell to the Queens College Knights 3-1 (25-14, 24-26, 26-28, 20-25) in non-conference action.
The Setters fall to 4-18 on the season, while the Knights improve to 9-13.
Junior
Brittani Muller reached double digit kills with 13 along with two blocks, while freshman
Haley Kain totaled nine kills and five digs. Junior
Macey Danker recorded seven kills, two aces and nine digs, while junior
Alyssa Marchino chipped in six kills, two aces, 11 digs and three blocks. Sophomore
Samantha Marquez led the team with 18 digs, while sophomore
Miki Carver posted a team high 25 assists with junior
Sara Anastasi adding 18 assists.
The Setters host Bentley on Friday, October 31 in the NE-10 match at 7 pm. Friday is "Dig Lavender" Night with t-shirts being sold for $5 with all proceeds going towards fighting rare forms of cancer at the Dana Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
