CALDWELL, N.J.- The Setters fell in a non-conference match to the Cougars of Caldwell College 3-0 (24-26, 14-25, 20-25). Pace falls to 2-3 on the season, while Caldwell improves to 3-2.
The Setters were led by senior Nora Rugova (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) who finished with seven kills and eight digs. Gabrielle Harris (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Friends) (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Friends) chipped in seven kills, while senior Elyse Rowland (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) led the team with 12 digs. Brooke Speyerer (Winter Haven, FL/Lake Region) (Winter Haven, FL/Lake Region) tallied 23 assists and eight digs, while Tamilee Webb (Hartsdale, NY/Ardsley) totaled five kills and six digs.
The Setters return to action as they travel to the Wilmington University Tournament as they will take on host Wilmington and Indiana, Pa. on Friday, September 7.
