SPRINGFIELD, MASS.- The Setters fell in Friday night Northeast-10 Conference action to the Yellow Jackets of American International College 42-0. Pace falls to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the NE-10, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the NE-10.
The Yellow Jackets got the board on their opening possession and led 14-0 after the first quarter on a pair of touchdown run by Terrell Williams. American International added two second quarter touchdowns for a 28-0 at the break.
Quarterback Jordan Raynor (Browns Mills, NJ/Pemberton) (Browns Mills, N.J./Pemberton) finished with 118 passing yards, while Cameron Davis (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL/Providence) (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Providence) led the Setters with five receptions for 42 yards.
On defense, Vince Romano (Davenport, N.Y./Oneonta) had 11 tackles, including a tackle for loss, and David Lopez (Ozone Park, N.Y./Christ the King) had 11 tackles and a fumble recovery for the Setters.
The Setters return to action on Saturday September 29 as they host Northeast-10 foe Merrimack College at Pace Field at 1:00 pm.
