MANCHESTER, N.H.- Thomas Earl (North Babylon, NY/St. Anthony's) (North Babylon, NY/St. Anthony's) tallied two goals as the Setters fell to the Hawks of Saint Anselm College 6-5 in Northeast-10 Conference action. Pace falls to 2-4 and 1-2 in the NE-10, while the Hawks improve to 6-1 and 4-0 in conference play.
Earl got the Setters on the board early off a Kevin Kadlick (Boston, MA/Catholic Memorial) (Boston, MA/Catholic Memorial) assist. The Hawks took a 2-1 lead but Kadlick tied the game at two with 2:38 to play in the quarter. The Hawks scored in the final minute to take a 3-2 lead after one quarter.
The Setters got their lone goal in the second quarter as John Kolesar (Warwick, NY/Warwick) (Warwick, NY/Warwick) netted a man-up score off a Matt Mirabito (Binghamton, NY/Broome CC) (Binghamton, NY/Broome CC) assist. Saint Anselm scored twice in the quarter as the Setters trailed 5-3 at halftime.
The team traded goals in the third quarter as Earl netted the Pace goal with 4:12 left in the third but Saint Anselm scored with 30 seconds on the clock for a 6-4 lead. The Setters netted a late goal in the fourth quarter as William Scioscia (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata) (Somerset, NJ/Immaculata) scored off an assist by Kolesar but fell short of netting the tying goal.
In net, Kevin Grady (Medford, NY/Bellport) played all 60 minutes as he recorded nine saves in the game.
The Setters return to action on Wednesday, April 4 when they will host American International College at  4 pm at Pace Field on the Pleasantville campus.
