MANCHESTER, N.H.- The Setters posted their seventh straight conference win and the seventh win in their last eight matches as they downed the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-20). Pace improves to 14-15 overall and 8-3 in the Northeast-10 Conference, while the Penmen fall to 10-13 and 2-9 in conference play.
Megan Kurz (San Diego, Calif./Patrick Henry) (San Diego, CA/Patrick Henry) tallied a match-high 12 kills along with 14 digs and two blocks, while Tamilee Webb (Hartsdale, NY/Ardsley) (Hartsdale, NY/Ardsley) added nine kills. Elyse Rowland (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) averaged nine digs per set as she finished for 27 for the match, while Brooke Speyerer (Winter Haven, FL/Lake Region) (Winter Haven, FL/Lake Region) totaled 29 assists. Nora Rugova (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) chipped in eight kills and 16 digs, while Gabrielle Harris (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Friends) (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Friends) netted four blocks. Alyssa Marchino (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) recorded three aces and 13 digs.
The Setters return to action on Saturday, November 3 when they will travel to Rindge, NH for a Northeast-10 Conference match against Franklin Pierce University at 12 pm
