OAKDALE, N.Y.- The Pace University volleyball team saw their winning streak cone to an end as the Setters fell to Dowling College 3-1 (24-26, 19-25, 27-25, 17-25) in non-conference action. Pace falls to 13-15 overall, whole the Golden Lions improve to 17-11 on the season.
Nora Rugova (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) led the Setters with 14 kills and eight digs, while Tamilee Webb (Hartsdale, NY/Ardsley) (Hartsdale, NY/ Ardsley) added 10 kills and three total blocks. Freshman Kelsey Mazurek (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) (Easton, PA/Easton Area) added five kills and five blocks, while Sara Atai (Setauket, NY/Ward Melville) (Setauket, NY/Ward Melville) added 14 assist. Brooke Speyerer (Winter Haven, FL/Lake Region) (Winter Haven, FL/Lake Region) totaled 21 assists, while senior libero Elyse Rowland (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) contributed 119 digs
The Setters return to action on Friday, November 2 as they will travel to Manchester, NH for a Northeast-10 Conference match against Southern New Hampshire University at 8 pm.
