SYRACUSE, N.Y.- The Setters fall to the Dolphins of Le Moyne College in a vital NE-10 Conference match-up. The Setters drop to 5-9-3 overall and 5-8-1 in the NE-10 Conference, while the Dolphins advance to 3-9-4 overall and 1-9-4 in the conference.
Pace started off the game strong with the first shot on goal of the game and a corner kick in the first 3 ½ minutes. Gabriele Ariola got away and scored the only goal of the game as she connected from the left side of Pace's penalty box at 39:33. The Dolphins out-shot pace 4-1 in the first half.
Kristiana Padavona (Howard Beach, NY/Fontbonne Hall Academy) (Howard Beach, NY/Fontbonne Hall Academy), Amanda Mundorf (Westfield, MA/Westfield) (Westfield, MA/Westfield) and Jillian Ferro (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) each recorded shots taken for Pace throughout the game but were unsuccessful in their efforts. Le Moyne ended up with ten shots on goal to Pace's three. Courtany Hagen (New Paltz, NY / New Paltz) spent all 90 minutes in goal and finished with four saves, while Tori Corsaro also spent the game in the net for the Dolphins where she recorded one save.
The Setters will host senior day and their last home game on Saturday, October 27 as they take the College of St. Michael's at 12 pm.
