Springfield, MA - The Pace University men's basketball team lost tonight to the Yellow Jackets of American International College by a score of 81-69 in a Northeast-10 Conference showdown. The Setters fall to 11-16 overall, and 7-15 in conference play while the Yellow Jackets improve to 20-7 overall, and 16-6 in the NE-10.

Pace got off to a rough start in the first five minutes of the game. The Setters dug themselves into an early hole going down 13-0 before scoring their first basket of the game. The Yellow Jackets continued to pour it on, going up by as much as 18 points in the first half. The Setters would battle back somewhat heading into the locker room down 11, 40-29.

The second half would not prove much better than the first. American International led by as much as 23 points with five minutes to go in regulation. Pace would eventually lose by 12 points, 81-69.

Shinning for the Setters was Adrian Mills (Woodbridge, VA/Paul VI) (Woodbridge, VA/Paul VI) with 17 points, and four assists. Also stepping up was Keon Williams (Hackensack, NJ/Iona College) with a double-double performance scoring 21 points, and pulling down 18 total rebounds.

The Setters wrap up their season tonight in Springfield, MA. Their overall record sits at 11-16, and 7-15 in conference action.
