PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- The Setters held off a late Saint Rose rally to remain unbeaten on the season with a 64-58 victory over the Golden Knights. Pace improves to 6-0 and 3-0 in the Northeast-10, while Saint Rose falls to 4-2 and 1-2 in conference play.

The Setters broke out to a 21-6  lead midway through the opening half as good shooting led the way for Pace. The Golden Knights would close the gap, pulling to within seven at 23-16 at the 5:59 mark. Pace pushed the lead back to 10 points but the Golden Knights used a 10-3 run over the final 4:29 to trail 29-26 at the break.

Pace opened the second half with a 12-5 run to push their lead back into double figures at 41-31 as Brittany Huggins (Windsor, CT/Windsor) (Windsor, CT/Windsor) tallied seven points in the run for the Setters. The Setters would keep a solid lead as they would extend their lead to as much as 12 points midway through the half. Saint Rose chipped away as they pulled to within six points at 54-48 with 3:53 left. The Setters would then head to the line, converting 7-of-10 down the stretch over the final two minutes to secure their sixth straight win to begin the season.

Pace was led by Kristin Connolly (Staten Island, NY/St. Peter's) (Staten Island, NY/St. Peter's) who finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals, while Huggins netted 13 points. Lisa Welsome (Staten Island, NY/St. Peter's) (Staten Island, NY/St. Peter's) totaled nine points and four rebounds, while Brittany Shields (Cold Spring, NY/Haldane) grabbed eight boards. 

The Setters return to action on Wednesday December 1 as Pace travels to Syracuse, NY for a Northeast-10 clash with the Dolphins of Le Moyne College at 5:30 pm.
