PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Pace University men's basketball team
used a game-high 18 points along with five assists from sophomore
Adrian Mills (Woodbridge, VA/Paul VI) (Woodbridge, VA/Paul VI) to come away
with a non-conference victory over the Clippers of Concordia
College by a score of 75-61.
The victory improves Pace's overall record to 5-3, while
Concordia falls to 0-6 overall.
The Setters would fight their way to a 15 point lead, towards
the end of the first half after a Delroy Daley (Bronx, NY/St. Raymond H.S.) (Bronx,
NY/St. Raymond HS) layup.
The Clippers would cut their deficit down to eight at one point
in the middle of the second half, but a 12-0 run by Pace would help
lead them to victory.
Along with Mills, the Setters received a solid game from
Erik Harris (Swedesboro, NJ/Kingsway/Siena) (Swedesboro, NJ/Siena) who netted
eight points, along with collecting a team-high nine rebounds.
Laurence McGhee (Linden, NJ/Linden) (Linden, NJ/Linden) scored 13
points along with collecting five assists.
The Setters return to action on Tuesday, December 22 when they
travel to Philadelphia, PA to face off against the University of
Philadelphia in a non-conference match set to start at 5 pm.
