Anerella helped the Blue and Gold to a season-opening 28-20 win over Millersville on Saturday night. The junior quarterback completed 72 percent of his passes (13-of-18), and accounted for three of Pace's touchdowns. Anerella's six-yard dash into the end zone in the first quarter provided Pace a 14-0 lead, while his scoring tosses to Tyler Mason (Mohegan Lake, NY/Walter Panas) and Nick DeVere (Novato, CA/Marin Catholic) in the third quarter helped put the game away.
