Brian Sosa won four individual races throughout the month of January. Additionally, he swam as a part of two teams that earned victories in relay races. Against Adelphi at home, Sosa touched first in the 200-backstroke with a time of 1:59.72. Then, in the final event, he helped the Setters earn a first place time of 3:48.91 in the 400-medley relay. In the final home meet of the season, a January 24th matchup against Le Moyne, Sosa won a pair of individual races while swimming as a part of one winning relay team. The talented freshman clocked first in the 200-backstroke and the 500-freestyle with times of 1:57.03 and 4:55.26 respectively before closing out the day with a first place time of 3:22.46 in the 400-freestyle relay. During the final meet of the regular season against Misericordia and Messiah, Sosa earned a first place time of 54.98 in the 100-butterfly.
