Pace University Athletics

Claudia Stabile is in her 11th year as the Associate Athletic Director for Student Success and Services and Senior Women's Administrator. Stabile has been with Pace University Athletics since 1982 as the Softball Head Coach and recorded her 800th victory on April 13, 2023.

In her expanded role in the Pace Athletics Department, Stabile will provide academic assistance to all student-athletes, including scheduling and advisement. She will also serve as the Senior Women’s Administrator and as so will work as the Title IX liaison and strategize ways to support and manage gender equity, diversity, and Title IX plans and issues.

Stabile has a long track record of success on the field and in the classroom, and her teams have been strong academically. The softball team posted the third-highest grade point average of all Pace varsity sports programs in the Fall 2022 semester, and had 13 members of the team named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes in 2021-22. The team was 19th in Division II in team GPA in 2021-22, and was 15th in 2020-21. She has also had eight players named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team during her tenure as coach.

A 1980 graduate of Fordham University, Stabile earned her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and received her Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision. Stabile formerly worked as the Dean for Students and Athletics Director at Maria Regina High School.
