Tim McIntee joined the Pace University men’s lacrosse staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2025, bringing decades of experience across the collegiate, professional, and high school levels.
Most recently, McIntee helped guide Molloy University to its first-ever East Coast Conference Championship, defeating Mercy College, and advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. He was part of the Lions’ coaching staff that earned ECC Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2025 and played a pivotal role in their first NCAA victory.
In addition to his work at Molloy, McIntee also served as the Head Coach of Middle Country High School Varsity Lacrosse in the spring of 2025, where he led the program to its first Conference I playoff appearance in more than a decade. His extensive coaching background includes assistant coaching stops at Hofstra, Mount St. Mary’s, and Dartmouth, as well as a 15-year tenure as Head Coach at Manhattan College, where he earned three MAAC Coach of the Year awards and led the Jaspers to a conference title and NCAA Tournament appearance.
A former professional player and team captain with the New York Saints, McIntee is a CW Post and Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee, and was a member of the USA World Championship Team in 1989–90.
He currently resides in East Islip, N.Y., with his daughter Emily and son Connor, and continues to bring a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion for the game to the Setters’ sideline.
