Pace University Athletics

Stefan Copetti arrived at Pace prior to the start of the 2025 fall season after playing at both Marist College and the University of Maryland.

At Marist, he appeared in 41 matches with 39 starts across two seasons, earning MAAC All-Rookie Team honors in 2019 and First-Team All-MAAC and United Soccer Coaches All-Region recognition in 2021. That season he tallied nine goals and three assists while helping the Red Foxes capture both the MAAC regular season and tournament titles before competing in the NCAA Tournament.

Copetti then transferred to Maryland, where he played two seasons with the Terrapins. As a junior, he led the team in goals with six, helping Maryland to a Big Ten regular season championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.

He captained the squad as a senior in 2023, again leading the team in goals (5) and points (13). A native of Ontario, Canada, Copetti also gained experience with the Hudson Valley Hammers of USL2, in addition to representing Team Ontario, Vaughan Soccer Club, and the York 9 All-Star team prior to college.

Copetti’s extensive background across Division I competition, international youth programs, and USL2 has given him a deep understanding of the game that he now brings to the Pace Men's Soccer program.
