Mike Winn returned to head the Pace women’s soccer program in 2010 after previously serving as the head coach from program's inception in 1998 until 2007. Winn is in his eighth year as the Associate Athletics Director and wrapped up his fifteenth season coaching the women's soccer program until he retired from his head coaching duties prior to the 2024 season.

Winn founded the women’s soccer in 1998 and joined the Northeast-10 Conference as a full member for the 1999 season. As the head of the program, he has guided the Setters to six post season appearances. During his tenure, he coached the Setters to six straight seasons of .500 or better from 2001-2006. Winn has also coached 11 All-Region selections, three NE-10 Goalkeepers of the Year, 18 All-Conference players, two Academic All-District players, and two Academic All-Americans. In addition, the women's soccer team has excelled in the classroom under Coach Winn garnering the NSCAA Team Academic Award in 2013 and 2014.

The Setters are coming off an 11-10 overall, 8-6 conference season that saw the team earn their first NE-10 Conference Tournament trip since the 2011 season. Following the impressive season, Alyssa Zeoli was named a Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association All-American and Capital One Academic All-American after earning a 3.69 GPA. Additionally, Jillian Ferro set all-time program highs in goals (27) and points (69) while being named to the Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association All-East Region Team and the NSCAA All-East Region Team. Both players were also selected to the NE-10 First-Team All-Conference squads as well. Coach Winn earned 2011 Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year after the Setters qualified for the NE-10 Championship Tournament for the first time since 2004. 

As the Associate Athletic Director for Operations, Winn is in control of the day-to-day internal operations of the athletic department including overseeing aquatics, equipment, facilities, game operations, and the sports medicine department.
