Brittany Soto joined Pace Athletics in August 2024 as the Associate Head Coach of the Women's Soccer program and was elevated to Head Coach in January 2025.
In her first season at the helm, Soto guided the Setters to an 8-9-1 overall record and a berth in the NE10 Conference Tournament. Under her leadership, six student-athletes earned All-Conference honors, including one East Region selection. The program also excelled in the classroom, with five players named to the CSC Academic All-District Team and six earning NE10 Academic All-Conference honors.
Prior to arriving at Pace, Soto spent more than 15 years coaching at the club and high school levels. In 2021 and 2022, she coached at Hopkins School, leading the team to the FAA quarterfinals. Her extensive coaching experience includes positions with Knoxville Crush, Tophat Soccer Club, FSA, and CFC, where she worked with players ranging from developmental programs to the ECNL level. In 2015, Soto was named Coach of the Year at Knoxville Football Club.
As a player, Soto enjoyed a successful collegiate career at Winthrop University and Birmingham-Southern College. At Winthrop, she appeared in 30 matches and earned a place on the Big South Honor Roll. She concluded her collegiate career at Birmingham-Southern, where she played in 36 matches, recorded six career points, and earned All-Conference honors as well as NSCAA All-Region All-Academic recognition. Following college, Soto competed in the Women's Premier Soccer League for Pensacola FC and Knoxville Force, serving as team captain during the 2014 season.
Academically, Soto earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Birmingham-Southern College. She also holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from Georgia State University, and a Sixth-Year degree in Education from the University of Bridgeport. Soto holds a USSF National C License.
