Javadifar has the ability to score on the perimeter as well as inthe paint... She is an excellent rebounder and is a talentedathlete... She will play a key role in the front court thisseason... Coach Seymour on Maral, "Maral is ready to play a keyrole for us this year.  She is a very well conditioned athletewith the ability to score from the perimeter and the post. Maralwill not be over-worked on the floor, and she is an excellentrebounder.  Her strength and speed enable her to be anexcellent low post defender.  She will start in the post forus this year."

2008-09:
Appeared in 25 games a off the bench for the Setters lastseason...Averaged 2.6 points per game, and 1.4 rebounds pergame...Had her best game on 2/10/09 against Saint Anselm as she hadscored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while going 5-7 fromthe free-throw line.

Led team to New York State Catholic High School AthleticAssociation Class A Championship and NYS Federation Class AChampionship in 2006-07... Times Ledger Second Team All Queensselection in 2005-06.. As a junior, was named Times Ledger andDaily News First Team All Queens... 2006-07 Sporting NewsPreaseason Honorable Mention All-American.
