Biography
2018-19: NE10 Winter Academic All-Conference Team... Posted top time of 46.77 in 100-free at NE10 Championships, placing fourth… Also had top time of season in 100-fly at Conference Championships, finishing in 50.70… Named to NE10 Men’s Relay Team of the Week on Jan. 30… Placed third in 100-breast in meet against Vassar, touching wall in 1:06.18... Earned recognition on the NE10’s Fall and Spring Academic Honor Rolls.
2017-18: NE10 Winter Academic All-Conference team...Selected as CollegeSwimming.com’s NE10 Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 8… Three-time recipient of the NE10 Men’s Relay Team of the Week… Named to NE10’s Weekly Honor Roll on Nov. 7… Took home a pair of bronze medals at the 2018 NE10 Championships in the 400-free relay and the 100-fly… Posted top team times for the season in the 50-free (21.38), 100-free (46.71), and 100-fly (49.89)… Placed first in eight events during the regular season.
2016-17: Named to the 2016-2017 Northeast-10 Men’s Swimming and Diving Academic All-Conference Team… Awarded NE10 Men’s Relay Team of the Week on a pair of occasions… Named to NE10 Honor Roll for week ending Dec. 4… Recorded team’s top time for the season in the 50-free at the NE10 Championships, finishing in 21.27 and winning the silver medal… Also posted season-best times for team in the 100-fly (50.76) and 200-fly (1:55.97) at the ECAC Winter Championships… Won the 100-fly at the Winter Championships with a time of 50.76, the top NE10 time for the year at that point in the season… Recorded a personal record in the 100-back at the Winter Championships, finishing third with a time of 53.51… Competed on victorious relay teams at meets against Adelphi (Nov. 5), Southern Connecticut State (Nov. 12), and Bentley (Jan. 11).
2015-2016: Named 2015-16 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Honorable Mention. Earned a 3.87 cumulative GPA after the spring 2016 semester in his chosen major of mathematics. He earned a "B" time standard at the 2016 Northeast-10 Conference Championships by clocking in at 49.61 in the 100-yard butterfly, earning him a silver medal at the competition. He was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the fall 2015 semester.
High School: Captain of the swimming and cricket teams...Holds the National Zimbabwe Record in the 100 Meter Fly...Was a member of the Young Leaders Organization
