Polikarpov was named the newest head coach of Pace Cross Country in the spring of 2022.

"I am extremely excited to welcome Yana to our Setter family," said Brown. "Her knowledge of the running community in our region, along with her ability to help younger runners maximize their potential, will greatly improve our team and their success."

"I am truly excited for this opportunity to take Pace Cross Country to the next level and 'set the pace' for our running program," said Polikarpov. "I look forward to building a foundation for growth and fostering an environment for our Setters to achieve their best out on the course."

A resident of Bronxville, N.Y. by way of Rego Park, Queens, Polikarpov brings not only her coaching savvy with her to Pleasantville, but also brings a champion's mentality as a member of Baruch's first ever CUNYAC Women's Cross Country Championship squad in 2007.
