Devon Simmons enters his second year as a graduate assistant coach after joining Head Coach Rondeau’s staff in August 2014. He will work with the wide receivers this season. Simmons was a four-year player for Old Dominion University.
Simmons played defensive back for the Monarchs for four seasons, finishing with 191 tackles and three sacks. He posted nine career interceptions, which is tied for the most all-time in school history and his 97 interceptions returns yards in second all-time. He ranks third on the Monarchs’ record book in total career tackles.
Simmons earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management with a minor in Management from Old Dominion in December 2013.
